One of the few things I do well is that I change my passwords every year and this year I finally switched to a system where I have a different password for every site. I should also add, I’ve never had any financial, email or social media account hacked. 

The study indicates that the people who have the strongest passwords are also in the same category of folks who change their passwords occasionally. Most people simply keep the same password associated with an account for years, significantly increasing the likelihood of the account being hacked.
